Growing up the grandson of an Italian immigrant farm family, my ties to the earth began very early. Landscape projects and other odd jobs to do outside, occupied my time in high school and inspired me to pursue a career in Landscape Design.
Receiving my education at S.U.N.Y. Morrisville, Temple University and Delaware Valley College, I have studied under some well respected professors in the Landscape Industry. Since 1989, I have worked with many award winning companies, in the Philadelphia area. |

Several visits to the Connecticut River Valley presented me with the opportunity to move from Pennsylvania and bring my services to Connecticut. In 2004, we started Fischer Landscape Restoration and Design, LLC.
The ecological movement is the up and coming industry for landscaping. My goal is to integrate both native plant design and practicality into landscape practice. I would like to share my skills with all of my clients, by designing the most appropriate landscape for their properties. --- Joseph Fischer
